Up for offer is an example of the iconic double portrait badge featuring Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il in a very attractive mint condition.
This iconic double portrait design appear post-2011 in celebration of the centenary of Kim Il Sung’s birth. It has since become the standard and most commonly seen portrait badge worn by North Korean military personnel and civilians alike. This specific example is a late production badge as is telling by the reverse design and the print quality. The badge also has a brilliant shine which the pictures shown cannot demonstrate adequately.
The condition of the badge is absolutely mint; there are no flaws whatsoever with the obverse or the reverse. The pin has not misshaped from use and appears to have been unissued in the past.
