Description
Up for offer is an anniversary edition commemorative Kim Il Sung portrait badge for the Japan-based Chongryon Association. The badge was issued to members in small numbers in 1985 to celebrate the Chongryon’s 30th anniversary.
The obverse features Kim Il Sung wearing the iconic “People’s Suit” on a white background surrounded by the colours of the North Korean flag. The reverse features a small text inscription reading “총련결성 30돐기념”, translating to “30 Year Anniversary of the Founding of Chongryon”.
The badge is in immaculate condition with no significant flaws other than some small surface scratches barely visible to the naked eye. There is no fading whatsoever and the pin is not misshaped from use.
