Description
Up for offer is a single portrait badge for the Japan-based Chongryon Association featuring Kim Il Sung wearing a Western suit.
The obverse features Kim Il Sung wearing a Western suit on a white background surrounded by the colours of the North Korean flag. This specific badge design is perhaps the most commonly seen and widely available North Korean portrait badge design available on the collector’s market.
The badge is in very good condition with nearly no flaws other than some surface scratches on the obverse barely visible to the eye, and some very minor staining. The pin is slightly misshaped from use but overall not a serious issue.
