Order of the National Flag 3rd Class Type 3 – Small Screwback

Up for offer is an Order of the National Flag 3rd Class Type 3 featuring the small screwback wheel suspension with Serial №. 23373.

The Order of the National Flag 3rd Class Type 3 was made indigenously in North Korea following the conclusion of the Korean War, contrary to the popular myth that Czechoslovakia was responsible for their production. These medals were issued post-war from mid-1950s to late 1950s.

The condition for this badge is decent, though there are lots of noticeable scratches on the obverse side as well as some dents to the enamel. The gold plating on the star has also rubbed off a bit at the tip. The reverse side also has some scratches and some green patina near the screw. The small screwback wheel also has some staining and patina. Serial №. 23373.
