North Korean traffic police in the capital city of Pyongyang are known to be hand selected from a pool of candidates exhibiting the best talent, looks, and height in consideration for their propaganda value. They are distinguished by their iconic blue or white uniforms paired with the iconic large crown peaked cap in matching colours.
This peaked cap is in immaculate condition; being essentially flawless. There are no loose threads or any flaws worth mentioning. The cap badge is modern production made from lower quality plastic compared to the older plated copper ones with enamel. The lining print displays a cartoon turtle with the inscription “광량 KWANG RYANG”. The large head size of 59 cm is also a worthy consideration.
